Let’s just say that my debut YA fantasy novel, Two Between Worlds, hasn’t been doing very well. I’ve been told the cover doesn’t really say “fantasy”… and this might be part of the problem.
So I’ve decided to change the cover for the e-book. (The print books will stay the same.) I’ve had more positive feedback for this new cover already, so I’m hoping it’ll entice some readers to pick it up.
That’s the beauty of self-publishing, though. You’re not tied to your mistakes. If something isn’t working, you can experiment with alternatives and maybe fix the problem.
Only time will tell.
What do you think of the new e-book cover? Would it stop your scrolling and make you take a second look?
